The Gallery at Oceanus on the Beach is a unique and intimate art space. Situated in the loft of the restaurant, it is dedicated to showcasing works by established and emerging Western Australian artists.

The Gallery offers visitors and diners the opportunity to view works of art in a relaxed setting.

Exhibitions in the gallery change every 4 - 6 weeks and the Gallery is open during restaurant hours.

Glenda Rodrigues & Penny Barrow

 
Glenda Rodrigues–

Glenda was born in Cape Town, South Africa.
Before moving to Perth to live, she spent nine years in New Zealand.

Glenda, who is a graphic artist, has been painting for about eight years. Her style is contemporary abstract, with an African/tribal influence.
She portrays spiritual symbols in her work, and her paintings evoke
an individual emotional experience for the viewer.

All works are painted with mixed media.

These paintings will easily fit in with any décor.

Glenda has sold many of her works over the years, and is available for commissions.

 
Penny Barrow–

Penny was born and educated in the UK and studied interior design and paint techniques at Guildford College, Surrey.

On moving to Australia, eight years ago, Penny was approached to teach abstract art and fine art at the Artists Warehouse, and recently the Artists Red Shed, where she holds classes each Thursday, as well as one day workshops.

Penny specialises in abstract art featuring different textures and techniques. In her most recent work she has been experimenting with inks, iridescent powders and mediums.

Penny has been featured in the Artists Palette magazine , has sold works in various galleries around Perth, and is in demand for commissions.
